Besides those specialties Bolu is famous for it's cooks come from Mengen town are kwon world-wide.
It takes a lot of attentions and visitors from all over the world during the Mengen Cook Festival holded every year in the area.

Places to visit in Bolu.
Bolu Museum, is located in city center which displays many artifacts from the long time eras and Ottoman Empire's period.
Bithynion is an antique city from Ancient Romans which was named Claudiopolis by then.
Seben Cave Houses, is an old settlement came from first Christianity Period.

Mosques and Toms;  Gerede Asar Castle, Gerede Goat Castle, Grand Mosque,Kadi , Sarachane , Imaret Mosque, Ilica , Karakoy and Mudurnu Yildirim Mosque, Tokadi Hayrettin Tomb and Aksemseddin Tomb.
