Antalya Mediterranean City



Antalya is the biggest city on the Mediterranean cost of Turkey and a tourism center of the country. This city make the visitors who came from all over the world fall in love with itself, unique bays , forests, caves, antique cities, history, cultural values, and with it's natural beauties its being name as the Turkish Riviera and needless to say its one of the paradise corner of the world for those who are seeking to experience a true Mediterranean Holiday Experience on sandy beaches.

It has a typical hot Mediterranean Climate and sea temperature sometimes gets up to 28 degree in summer. Mostly more visitors on summer but this city is open for it's visitors all year around. The most important beaches are within 1-2 kilometers Konyaalti And Lara beach. There are some other beaches sea shores sea sides with the most clean and beautiful sea side of the world for the travellers and for vacations such as; Side, Olympos, Kemer and Alanya.

It is possible to have a scuba diving on Antalya shores from many points such as Falezler, Kas, Kemer Kalkan. Wind surfing , canoe, yatching and water sports such as jet ski is quite popular in the area. Besides Koprulu canyon, Manavgat Dim and Alanya are some of the places which provides course for rafting.

It is also a popular place for those who are intrested in ski sport such as Beydaglari Ski Center, Beydaglari and Toros Mountaining provide unique camping and natural beauties, It is also available to have a safari jeap tour to the Toros Mountains around with a daily trip from the city.

The wonder of natura national parks and natural bird's paradise are availabe for nature tourism. It is also an important place for those golf lovers in such places like; Antalya, Serik and Melek, those are few main places for golfing in Turkey. There are also some places for paragliding such as Alanya and Tahtali.

Antalya is a rich city in art and history and culture. Historic Kaleici province is surrounded by narrow streets and with antique walls of the castle, its worth to see the Hadrianus Gate which was built by Empire of Ancient Roman Empire Hadrianus, there is an archeology museum, many historical structures and historic ruins around.

Antalya is also a good center for daily trip to archeological places such as Olympos, Aspendos, Phaselis,Side,Perge,Side and Termessos

Places to visit in Antalya
Kaleici is the center of the city. It has been restored with a lot of hotels, bars, clubs, restaurants and shopping centers to serve the visitors again. The restoration work did not change the historical structure of the place which made place to win the Golden Apple Award being assumed the Nobel of the Tourism.
